I’ve always loved movement, be it running, playing tennis, soccer, or horseback riding. I bring this love of movement into all of my classes. I want my clients to leave my class feeling stronger than when they arrived. When I teach a class I aim to push my clients both physically and mentally to the edge of what they believe they are capable. I love to teach and witness my clients reap the rewards of their hard work. I am certified in barre, Pilates, and I hold a Ph.D and MBA. I’m in the process of completing my 200 hour yoga certification.
As a former marathoner, I love to lose myself in a challenging barre class. I aim to teach in a flowing energetic style. I challenge clients to hold their form and alignment while keeping your heart rate up. I structure my class around music so that the music and I set the pace for the class. I hold a multitude of certifications, including Pilates, barre, and TRX. I love to develop new moves and classes as I go about my day—always thinking about the best ways to train clients.
I’ve always been a lover of exercise, health, and nutrition. When I’m not cooking up new recipes or hiking with my dog, you can find me running half marathons and trying every single kind of workout class offered. From boxing to Crossfit to spinning to barre, you name it- I’ve tried it! In 2014 I found Yoga Sculpt, heated vinyasa yoga with weights, and was immediately hooked. I started teaching it not long after and love it to this day! My classes are a blend of sweaty cardio moves, weight training, and the juicy part of yoga we all love. I also teach HITT and bootcamp style classes and am always open to adding things in that my clients want more of! I look forward to seeing you in the studio soon!
